Alfalfa, as a perennial plant and protective greatly reduced erosion in the semi-desert of The Bad-lands of the Altiplano of Granada, while cutting the disease cycle of wheat and barley. In our crops, alfalfa is even one of the best choices to lead the rotation of these and an excellent example of winter cereal. Of course, we should not go from one excess to another. Like any crop, the alfalfa should be implemented in a reasonable manner.
